The E-Learning Tool required a quick update to its existing platform to improve the email notification system. The primary objectives were to update SendGrid information, verify and enhance email notification functionality, and ensure the system properly handles email case sensitivity. The goal was to confirm that emails were being sent correctly and to address any issues potentially caused by capitalization inconsistencies.
The Demski Group provided a swift and thorough update to the E-Learning tool. We ensured that the email system functioned correctly, updated SendGrid configurations, and implemented checks for email case sensitivity to ensure the reliable delivery of critical notifications.
We updated the SendGrid API key and configuration details in the application, ensuring seamless integration with the updated SendGrid settings to maintain email delivery. To verify the email functionality, we checked that the notification system for functions such as forgot password, login, and sign-up was working correctly. This included confirming that emails were being sent without issues from the application and addressing any potential blocks by client IT systems. We also implemented logic to handle email case sensitivity by converting all email inputs to lowercase before processing, ensuring accurate recognition and processing of emails regardless of capitalization variations. Extensive testing was conducted to confirm that the updated email system worked seamlessly with the new SendGrid configuration, covering all relevant email functions for reliable performance and correct handling of email addresses.
