Distinct Consulting partnered with The Demski Group to develop a custom SaaS web application designed to streamline the creation of complex, legally defensible investigation reports.
The goal of the project was to transform a traditionally manual and time-intensive reporting process into a structured, scalable system. By combining guided workflows with AI-powered report generation, the platform enables investigators to efficiently organize case data and generate professional, evidence-based reports in minutes rather than hours.
Challenges and Requirements
The Demski Group developed the internal web pDistinct Consulting required a solution that could support the complexity and structure of formal investigation reporting while improving efficiency and scalability.

The Solution
The Demski Group designed and developed a fully customized SaaS web application tailored to Distinct Consulting’s workflow.
The platform introduces a structured approach to case creation, guiding users through the process of entering or uploading all necessary information. Based on this input, the system leverages OpenAI’s API to generate comprehensive, legally defensible investigation reports that follow a consistent and professional format.
What previously required investigators 4–5 hours to complete can now be generated in just minutes, significantly improving operational efficiency while maintaining reporting quality and consistency.
Each report includes key sections such as:
- • Introduction and scope of investigation
- • Involved parties and witnesses
- • Overview of allegations
- • Relevant policies
- • Detailed summaries of evidence
- • Findings of fact and analysis
Users are also able to refine and regenerate specific sections, allowing for flexibility while maintaining consistency in structure and tone.
In addition to report generation, the platform centralizes all case-related data, organizing files and inputs into project-based folders for easy access and management.
